abortion - at the very least Planned Parenthood should not receive taxpayer money

I've been disturbed by the concept of abortion for quite some time now and finally figured it was time to actually say something about it. So here's my spiel.

I often can understand why a woman would decide to have an abortion. I understand that a woman may feel like she's alone and doesn't want to make her life "any more difficult". I understand that she doesn't want to "have a bad life for her child".

Something I can't understand is why we have taxpayer money going to "help" planned parenthood- an organization that makes most of its money off of abortions and has abused women's freedom to choose much more than most pro-life people have. this is instead of funding crisis pregnancy centers apparently. Planned Parenthood, for example, has publicized articles that say they are against having ultrasounds before a woman has an abortion. the woman at the very least deserves to have as much relevant, truthful information as possible when she is deciding whether her child gets to live.

Oh and in case pro-choice people don't know this already (it appears that many of them don't) - pro-life people care a whole heck of a lot about the welfare of women...arguably much more than planned parenthood administrators do...or at least that's how it appears to me. I'm rather sick of the whole thing - it's pretty twisted.
